PETO?EVI? specializes in IP services throughout the region commonly referred to as Eastern Europe, nowadays a mix of EU jurisdictions, CIS countries and other former Yugoslavian and USSR countries.

Our team of over 120 people works in 15 offices - Albania, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Kosovo (UNSCR 1244), Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovenia, and Ukraine. The network’s governing entity is in Luxembourg.

In total we cover more than 30 jurisdictions in Central and Eastern Europe, as we also work through affiliated offices in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Slovak Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

PETO?EVI? established an office in Kiev, Ukraine in April 2010, which is primarily responsible for IP matters in Ukraine and the former USSR countries.

The strengths of our office in Ukraine are: patent and trademark prosecution, representing international clients in trademark contentious proceedings, and managing trademark portfolios and enforcement matters of multinational corporations in the former USSR countries.

In addition, the Kiev office team, which includes seven IP attorneys, two paralegals and one administrative assistant, successfully tackles complex prosecution, enforcement, and litigation matters.

According to clients, our Ukrainian team is attentive, quick to respond, available and does impressive work. Their feedback was published in this year’s edition of the World Trademark Review’s 1000 Rankings in which PETO?EVI? Ukraine was ranked in the Silver tier.

Dina Peto?evi?, the Kiev office director, has more than ten years of experience in intellectual property protection. She has been leading the Kiev team since the beginning, hiring IP professionals who are experts for the former USSR countries, with a western approach to business practices that clients highly appreciate.
