Patent Law Agency SYNERGY is a creative, professional and experienced team of patent attorneys, advocates, lawyers and experts in the field of intellectual property.

The history of Agency started in the year 2005. Initially, it was founded by the practicing lawyers and patent attorneys: Viktoriya Ostapchuk, Alina Seroshtan and Anna Kravchuk. Under their well-coordinated direction the Agency strengthened its positions and significantly expanded the range of services offered.

SYNERGY provides the full legal support of client’s intellectual and creative achievements – from the registration of intellectual property item to the development of rights protection strategy based on recent trends in enforcement practices.

The team of the patent attorneys, advocates and lawyers assists in solving the following issues:

- conduct of legal audit of intellectual property items with the subsequent development of models for their protection, provision of legal opinions on the creation of IP portfolio;

- registration of actions concerning intellectual property items and relevant operations in Ukraine and abroad;

- tax advice on transactions in the field of intellectual property;

- construction of strategies to protect the rights and interests of clients concerning the intellectual property items, representation of clients in courts, Antimonopoly Committee, internal affairs agencies, customs and other government agencies;

Being closely related to business community and IT-society, the Agency is a member of the European Business Association (EBA), the Association of Information Technology Enterprises of Ukraine (APITU). The lawyers and advocates are actively involved in the activities of the Association of Lawyers of Ukraine, Ukrainian Advocates’ Association, All-Ukrainian Association of Patent Attorneys as their members. Being fully engaged in the activity of associations experts are constantly in touch with recent trends, practices, and changes in legislation.

Achievements of the Agency are more than 1700 registered trademarks, about 200 successful trademarks purchase and sale transactions, experience in protecting the interests in the Appeals Chamber of intellectual property, courts, customs, more than 250 contracts developed for individual models of work with intellectual property.
